Mr. Cates graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a focus on persuasion. He then attended Arizona State University College of Law where he distinguished himself in oral argument competition and as a participating member of the Trial Advocacy Team.

Client was traveling on I-15 outside of Camp Verde, Arizona when caught with over 750 pounds of marijuana. After being stopped, the client gave a full confession. The client was facing 5-15 years in prison; we were able to arrange a plea for 2.5 years and a fine.

Client was charged with criminal speeding. The client was able to go to defensive driving school to dismiss the charge and avoid the points by pleading to civil speeding instead.
